Job Description: In order to support our fleet data team in regards of technical and economic performance of the in service fleet, Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Fleet Performance & Reliability Manager H145 (d/f/m)Are you looking for a cross-functional role with broad visibility across Airbus Support & Services? Do you want to shape the operability of future aircraft developments while driving in-service performance for world-class helicopter fleets? In this role, you will focus on the Airbus H145—our market-leading, twin-engine multi-mission helicopter deployed worldwide for emergency medical services (HEMS), law enforcement, military, and offshore operations. Your key objective will be to optimize the operational reliability, availability, maintenance economics, and fuel efficiency of the global H145 fleet as well as upcoming helicopter developments. Your locationAt our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield. Your tasks and responsibilitiesManage Reliability: Define and maintain reliability benchmarks for the H145 fleet and new helicopter developments. Act as Key Interface: Serve as the central focal point for fleet data across program management, engineering, and suppliers. Analyze Fleet Data: Evaluate flight hours and failure rates to optimize operational availability and costs. Drive Product Improvements: Identify, analyze, and prioritize technical and maintenance improvement opportunities to reduce customer costs. Maintain Performance Metrics: Build and manage KPI dashboards covering maintainability, costs, and fleet availability. Support Bidding & Proposals: Provide realistic operational and cost data for RFQs, proposals, and customer projects. Harmonize Methods: Standardize data analytics methodologies and tools across different helicopter programs. Desired skills and qualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Industry Experience: Professional experience in the aviation sector, preferably with helicopter systems knowledge. Analytical Mindset: Strong background in data analytics with an understanding of reliability and maintenance metrics (RAMT/DMC). IT Proficiency: Fluent with standard IT applications, databases, and reporting systems (ideally SAP BW). Skills: Proactive mindset with proven experience coordinating cross-functional activities and managing stakeholders. Business Acumen: Customer-centric focus combined with strong economic thinking and problem-solving skills. Language Skills: Professional fluency in English and German; French skills are a plus.
