Job description

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Lead Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory initiatives that improve productivity, quality, process visibility, and operational performance. Develop and implement digital manufacturing solutions including MES, SCADA, machine connectivity, IoT, and manufacturing data systems. Create dashboards, KPIs, and analytics tools that enable data-driven decision making across manufacturing operations. Design and deploy Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions that streamline processes and increase efficiency. Identify and implement opportunities for automation, machine vision, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies to solve manufacturing challenges. Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, IT, and global teams to successfully execute digitalization projects from concept through implementation. Serve as a technical expert and change agent, helping drive adoption of new technologies and best practices across the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field. 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, digitalization, industrial technology, or Industry 4.0 environments. Experience with manufacturing systems such as PLCs, MES, SCADA, machine connectivity, industrial networks, or manufacturing data acquisition platforms. Knowledge of digitalization tools such as Ignition, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Grafana, or similar technologies. Experience working with SQL, databases, APIs, scripting, programming, or industrial communication protocols. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate manufacturing data into actionable business improvements.
