Meta is looking for an experienced communications leader to lead the Intelligence & Insights (I&I) function within the Communications & Public Affairs organization. I&I’s work underpins how the entire Comms organization understands its environment and measures its impact. The Director of I&I leads a global, multi-disciplinary team with members based in North America, EMEA and APAC, covering priority markets worldwide and the full range of company priority issues. The team's remit spans Intelligence (real-time flagging, longitudinal narrative tracking and news cycle analysis), Research (deep examination of strategic topics to equip leadership with insight), Messaging (disciplined deployment of research-backed narratives with target audiences) and Insights (analyzing how campaigns perform in driving business impact). This is a builder's role as much as a reporting one. The team does not simply produce recurring reports — it designs the tools, systems and processes that make reporting faster, sharper and more scalable, and it applies AI throughout its own workflows to compress turnaround times and create capacity for higher-judgment analytical work. We are looking for a leader who is energized by improving how the work gets done, not only by delivering the work itself. The role operates at the center of a demanding, high-tempo environment. The Director partners directly with senior company leadership and cross-functional partners across Communications, Public Affairs, Policy, Marketing, Legal and Data Science, and must be able to influence effectively upward, laterally and downward. Strong operational discipline is essential: much of the role is orchestrating a complex portfolio of recurring and ad hoc deliverables across time zones, sequencing competing requests, negotiating scope and timelines with senior stakeholders, and protecting the team's ability to do sustainable, high-quality work.
