Are you an analytical graduate who can help us ensure our medicines meet rigorous legal standards? This will be your challenge within our dedicated regulatory affairs department. It is here that we advise on legal and scientific requirements; collect, collate, and evaluate scientific data in order to confirm the quality and efficacy of our products – and keep track of changing global health authority requirements. We are required to meet stringent standards as part of the registration for clinical trials and marketing approvals across the world. You can be instrumental in this crucial process. Working with different areas of the function, other departments and colleagues from around the world, you will get an unparalleled insight into a critical team and the chance to provide expert guidance. Over two years, our graduate programme will challenge and support you to grow professionally and personally. You will have stretching rotations supporting areas such as Global Regulatory Operations (GRO), Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC), and/or the UK and Ireland business. As you experience these varied fields of expertise, you will learn exactly what it takes to get a drug approved. The timely provision of documentation to agreed timeframes for assigned projects. This may include, but is not limited to, support for clinical trials, marketing applications or activities relating to licence maintenance worldwide. The preparation, review and delivery of day-to-day submissions. Manage workload and prioritise tasks to meet agreed deadlines, as outlined by the line manager, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously Develop knowledge of the drug development process, regulatory agency guidelines, regulatory expectations and the principles of the regulatory review processes in Europe, Emerging Markets, Asia Pacific and North America. Seek to resolve problems in a proactive manner, discussing problems with line manager to obtain advice and endorsement to approach. Build effective working relationships and organisational networks. Participate in mandatory training and completion of training records. What skills are we looking for? Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. Self-starter and engenders a can-do attitude. Possess sharp analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Versatility to adapt to a complex, fast moving and challenging environment. Exhibit confidence and strong communication skills to express own opinions.
