Title of Position Assistant Manager - Supply Chain, Pharmaceuticals Basic & Minimum Qualification Any Graduate with 8-10 Years of experience in Supply Chain Experience 4 to 6 Years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical / Chemical / API industry. Location: Ankleshwar Site. Job Description and KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to the supply chain, including inventory levels, demand forecasts, supplier performance, transportation costs, and production efficiency. Optimize inventory levels to balance the need for product availability with the cost of carrying excess inventory. Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Evaluate supplier performance and identify potential sources of supply chain disruptions. Identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and recommend improvements. Implement best practices to streamline operations and reduce costs. Analyze distribution networks for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Analyze supply chain costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Monitor and report on cost variances and take corrective actions as necessary. Identify and assess risks in the supply chain, such as supply disruptions, quality issues, or geopolitical factors, and develop contingency plans. Generate reports and dashboards to communicate supply chain performance metrics to relevant stakeholders Technical Skills & Competencies / Language SAP and other e tools Microsoft Excel Communication Co-ordination. To implement and report Supply Chain and Logistic activities at Pharmaceuticals, Ankleshwar, related to Planning & coordination with respective markets and global supply chain function. Adherence to HSE requirement in fulfilling the customer’s requirement, living Group’s Values and Code of Ethics.
