We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team, supporting operations in Chicago, IL, or Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional with a strong background in a complex, high-volume, unionized transportation or bus line environment. The HR Generalist will serve as a strategic partner and day-to-day resource for employees and management, administering a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, labor relations, compliance, and people operations. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of working in an intercity passenger transportation setting and is comfortable navigating the nuances of a represented workforce. About the Role Employee Relations (ER) – Serves as the primary point of contact and driver for employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, manager enablement and coaching, etc. Compliance – Ensures organizational compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws Compensation Management – Support the administration of the company’s compensation programs, including job evaluations, salary benchmarking, job descriptions and classifications, annual merit review process, union pay scales, etc. Performance Management – Administer end-to-end performance management cycles, including goal-setting, mid-year check-ins and annual evaluations, progressive disciplinary processes, etc. Leave Administration – Manage and serve as point of contact for all employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, short-term and long-term disability, personal leave, etc. Unemployment Compensation – Manage unemployment insurance claims and timely state agency responses <span data-ccp-props="{"201341983&
