Job DescriptionThis role directs the BD Sandy Plant in the manufacturing of infusion therapy catheters and other medical devices. The position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, driving continuous manufacturing improvement, supporting new product launches, and developing employees through training, education, and engagement. The role also supports the Vice President, Integrated Supply Chain in developing manufacturing strategies and participates in platform and core teams to achieve business and operational objectives. Leadership Management: Lead and coach the plant leadership team. Ensure clear development goals, provide support, and manage organizational changes when required. Facility Management: Oversee maintenance of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. EHS Compliance: Promote environmental, health, and safety compliance aligned with legal standards and best practices. Financial Management: Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure accurate accounting and reporting. Plant Representation: Represent the Sandy plant in legal, regulatory, and community engagements. Maintain a positive organizational image. Supply Chain Coordination: Partner with global supply chain teams to meet production capacity and ensure timely execution of projects. Quality Management: Ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements. Support audits and ensure timely completion of corrective actions (CAPA). Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as required to support business needs. SupervisionThis position is responsible for supervising a small team consisting of approximately 1 to 10 individuals. The role primarily focuses on overseeing people leaders within the organization rather than directly managing exempt or hourly associates.
