Job description

Business Performance Management Deliver accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and management review materials. Monitor business performance and provide insights into revenue, pricing, mix, margin, operating expenses, and profitability. Identify emerging risks and opportunities, quantify potential financial impacts, and recommend appropriate mitigation or acceleration actions. Support regular business reviews by translating financial results into concise and actionable business insights. Track agreed actions and financial commitments arising from business and management reviews Pricing, Discount and Rebate Analysis Conduct financial evaluations of pricing proposals, discounts, rebate programs, commercial schemes, and other customer-related initiatives. Assess the impact of commercial proposals on revenue, gross margin, profitability, cash flow, and overall business performance. Provide fact-based recommendations that balance market competitiveness, customer needs, growth objectives, and margin protection. Monitor the financial performance of approved pricing, discount, and rebate programs against agreed assumptions and targets. Partner with relevant stakeholders to improve commercial governance, approval discipline, and post-implementation tracking. Highlight deviations from approved business cases and recommend corrective actions when required. Strategic Finance Business Partnership Act as a trusted finance partner to business leaders by providing proactive, objective, and commercially relevant financial advice. Develop a strong understanding of business models, market dynamics, customer segments, products, and operational drivers. Translate operational and commercial developments into financial implications and management insights. Challenge business assumptions constructively and support balanced, fact-based decision-making. Support the development and execution of strategic priorities, growth initiatives, productivity programs, and profitability improvement plans. Promote financial ownership and accountability across the organization. Financial Governance and Internal Controls Ensure financial planning, analysis, and commercial review activities comply with applicable company policies, approval requirements, and internal control standards. Maintain clear and appropriate supporting documentation for financial analyses, assumptions, recommendations, and approvals. Support internal and external audit requirements related to the role’s areas of responsibility. Identify potential process or control gaps and work with relevant stakeholders to implement improvements. Escalate significant financial, commercial, or compliance concerns in a timely manner.
