Job Purpose Support the Global Process Owner (GPO) in driving standardization, simplification, automation, and continuous improvement across SMAS management and production accounting processes. Act as a subject matter expert for process excellence methodologies, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, controls, and user experience across global SMAS. Lead process improvement and automation initiatives, partnering with operational teams, Finance stakeholders, Digital & Tech, RPA, and C&C to deliver sustainable business benefits. Support the design, implementation, and governance of global process standards, procedures, controls, and RACI frameworks. Drive adoption of best practices, standard ways of working, and digital solutions across the SMAS organization. Contribute to global process and systems deployments, ERP evolution, and process optimization initiatives supporting the SMAS operating model. Key Responsibilities: Identify, assess, and prioritize process improvement opportunities across the SMAS organization, leveraging data, stakeholder feedback, and performance metrics. Lead and support continuous improvement projects focused on standardization, simplification, automation, controls enhancement, and productivity. Facilitate process mapping, process documentation, root cause analysis, and problem-solving workshops to improve SMAS operational performance. Collaborate with operational teams and SMEs to design, test, and implement process improvements and sustainable solutions. Support the development and maintenance of global process documentation, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials. Monitor process performance and SMAS KPIs trends, identifying control gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Partner with SMAS Digital Team, Digital & Tech teams, Blackline CoE and RPA to evaluate and deploy digital tools and automation solutions. Support governance forums, process reviews, and standardization initiatives by preparing analyses, recommendations, and progress updates. Act as a change champion, supporting communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption of new processes and technologies. Contribute to the design and implementation of global RACI matrices, process ownership frameworks, and governance standards. Participate in ERP, SAC, S/4HANA, automation, and other relevant projects, representing SMAS process requirements and business needs. Build strong collaborative relationships with Finance teams, GPOs, Finance Partners, Digital & Tech teams, and external stakeholders. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence across the SMAS organization. Basic Qualifications: Degree level education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline. At least 5 years’ experience in finance and accounting processes, preferably within manufacturing, cost accounting, or shared services environments. Track record of leading or supporting process improvement, automation, transformation, or operational excellence initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Ability to drive change, challenge existing practices constructively, and build engagement around improvement initiatives. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Working knowledge of multiple systems/tools e.g. SAP, Power BI, SAC Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively within global teams.
