We are looking to hire a mid-career Technician for Compressed Night Shift - Front Half of week in Thin Films/Diffusion team Required Skills: • Strong work ethic and ability to work both in team setting and independently with excellent attention to detail • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Effective verbal and written communication • Critical thinking and problem solving in a high-volume production facility • Basic understanding of semiconductor device physics and materials • Wafer fab experience or knowledge of semiconductor processing • Ability to be adaptable, self-motivate, and learn new skills • Familiarity with basic SPC terms, methods and concepts Description of Job: • Sustain Thin Films and Diffusion fab area, including Epi, Implant, and CVD by reviewing and dispositioning aberrant lots, addressing equipment issues, and providing manufacturing support in a semiconductor cleanroom. • Monitor the health of the production line by reviewing and responding to process trends using SPC. • Determine root cause of process issues and make improvements. • Improve yield and quality of the product by running experiments and analyzing data. • Write and edit specifications/procedures and train peers. Education: Required: Highschool degree or GED Preferred: 2 or 4 year degree in a technical discipline Schedule: N1 (every other Sat, Su, Mo, and Tue) For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $28 to $35.Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits. Benefits for the position includes 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
