The IT Strategy Manager supports the development and execution of the Diagnostics IT strategy by leading strategic assessments, operating model initiatives, and transformation measures. Combines structured problem solving, stakeholder alignment, and business-focused recommendations to drive technology decisions and value realization across IT.Your role: You will support the development, refinement, and execution of the Diagnostics IT strategy, translating business priorities and technology trends into strategic initiatives, innovation opportunities, and actionable roadmaps. You will lead short-cycle strategic assessments, typically over several weeks, to evaluate business needs, technology options, and solution alternatives for functional areas such as CRM, service, enterprise platforms, digital capabilities, AI, and automation. You will structure complex questions, conduct fact-based analyses, and develop transparent recommendations using defined evaluation criteria, business cases, and decision frameworks. You will contribute to the design and evolution of the IT target operating model, including capabilities, roles, governance, sourcing, delivery footprint, and organizational interfaces. You will drive selected strategic measures from concept through implementation, including cost optimization, operating model improvements, capability build-up, and innovation initiatives. You will collaborate with business leaders, IT functions, enterprise architecture, finance, procurement, and external partners to align requirements, options, and recommended outcomes. You will prepare concise, management-ready decision materials and communicate complex strategic and technology topics clearly to senior stakeholders and governance bodies. You will coordinate internal and external experts, ensuring high-quality analyses, clear deliverables, disciplined timelines, and effective stakeholder engagement. You will help strengthen IT strategy methods, templates, market intelligence, and repeatable assessment approaches while contributing to a culture of structured problem solving and measurable value realization. Your expertise: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. 5-8+ years of experience in IT strategy, technology consulting, enterprise transformation, operating model design, or a comparable strategic IT role in a complex enterprise environment. Proven experience structuring and delivering strategic assessments, technology or platform evaluations, business cases, or transformation initiatives with tangible recommendations. Strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, technology platforms, operating models, sourcing approaches, and the interaction between business processes, applications, data, and infrastructure. Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous questions, synthesize quantitative and qualitative information, and develop fact-based conclusions. Experience with target operating model design, organizational or capability development, cost optimization, innovation management, or strategic roadmap development is preferred. Ability to manage defined workstreams or smaller strategic projects independently, while effectively involving subject-matter experts and escalating key decisions when required. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create clear executive narratives and communicate complex topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment across business, IT, and external partners in a global and cross-functional environment. Experience in consulting-style working methods, including hypothesis-driven analysis, structured problem solving, market research, and development of management-ready deliverables, is preferred. The base pay range for this position is: $128,480 - $176,660 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
