Meta seeks a talented product attorney to serve as Associate General Counsel supporting Meta Robotics Studio. This role is product-focused and will involve close coordination with engineering, machine learning, hardware, policy, and other cross-functional partners to advise on a broad range of issues globally as we build robots. Almost nothing about this work has been done before. Robotics law is largely unwritten, and the questions this role takes on will often have no precedent, no settled guidance, and no playbook to work from. We are looking for an attorney who finds that energizing rather than unsettling: someone who reasons from first principles, gets comfortable fast with hard technical subject matter, and can chart a path forward through ambiguity. You will build the frameworks rather than inherit them, and what you build becomes how the program operates. This is a multi-year commitment and a rare chance to own a program's legal foundation from the beginning. We are looking for a candidate who has a solid understanding of laws and principles as they apply to consumer hardware and AI products, is motivated, collaborates well, and can practically weigh and manage legal risks.
