Job Description: In order to support Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a DOA Management Engineer (d/f/m) We are looking for a DOA Management Engineer (d/f/m) to join our team and support the management and coordination of activities related to the Design Organisation Approvals (DOAs) in Airbus Defence and Space GmbH. You will be responsible for managing approval processes within the Design Organisation, ensuring that the relevant manuals, procedures and documentation are properly maintained, updated and implemented in accordance with applicable requirements. Your tasks and responsibilitiesManage approval processes and ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations, airworthiness standards, and organisational requirements Support DOA Management in ensuring compliance with applicable aviation regulations and organisational requirements. Act as a central point of coordination between DOA Management, internal Design Organisation departments, and National Airworthiness Authorities. Coordinate the preparation, review, approval, and implementation of DOA manuals, procedures, and controlled documentation. Monitor approval statuses to ensure key actions and deliverables are completed within designated timeframes. Support the implementation of structural changes to Design Organisation procedures and systems. Facilitate proactive communication and alignment across stakeholders. Participate in internal reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives related to the DOA system. Maintain rigorous document control and ensure full traceability across all records. Desired skills and qualificationsDegree in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline, paired with professional experience in the aerospace industry or a highly regulated environment. Proven experience within an EASA Part 21J Design Organisation or airworthiness environment, with strong knowledge of German Defence Airworthiness regulations and Design Organisation Approval (DOA) requirements and experience working with manuals, procedures, approvals and controlled documentation. Hands-on expertise with controlled documentation, including the preparation, maintenance, and management of DOA manuals, procedures, and compliance records. Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance frameworks in aviation. Strong organizational and coordination skills, characterized by a structured, methodical approach to work and high attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and authorities.
