Job Details: Job Description: The Role and Impact As a Facilities Development Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing facilities infrastructure critical to Intel's manufacturing operations. You will focus on creating innovative solutions for structural systems supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing tools, ensuring efficiency and reliability in production processes. By collaborating across teams and driving improvements, you will contribute directly to Intel's success in delivering cutting-edge technologies. Business group Intel Foundry drives innovation and manufacturing excellence across Intel's global network. The Facilities Development Engineer role is part of the FCO FOK Tool Design team within this group, focusing on designing and implementing structural solutions tailored to Intel's advanced tool installations. This team supports Intel's broader mission by enabling seamless manufacturing operations through robust facilities infrastructure design. Key Responsibilities - Design and oversee the development of steel pedestal structures for permanent fab foundations supporting 300MM manufacturing tools. - Utilize CAD modeling tools, such as Revit or AutoCAD, to create and refine structural layouts in compliance with US building codes such as ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC. - Pilot and refine innovative construction practices by designing, executing, and analyzing engineering experiments. - Collaborate with suppliers to qualify and improve facilities equipment and systems aligned with manufacturing requirements. - Develop and maintain Intel Master Design Specifications (IMDS) and operations documentation for facilities infrastructure. - Partner with internal stakeholders and global supply chain teams to facilitate smooth technology transfers and equipment startup processes. - Perform operational analysis to optimize efficiency, energy use, and safety protocols within facilities infrastructure. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field with hands-on experience in structural design gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training OR a Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field with no prior professional experience. - Proficiency in CAD modeling tools, such as Revit or AutoCAD, or equivalent programs. - Familiarity with US building codes, including ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC. - Strong technical writing skills for specifications and engineering documentation. Preferred Qualifications - Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and enhance operational efficiencies. - Effective communication skills to collaborate across diverse teams and suppliers. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $89,010.00-125,660.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
