This position reports to: Product Engineering Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca. You will be mainly accountable for: Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance. Participate in early focus on manufacturability in NPI and/or Advanced Technology programs. Collaborate in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling/equipment development and QMS Design Transfer execution. Assist with or lead NPIs and/or transfers, serving as the program manager for a given introduction/transfer program. Ensures that Master Data integrity, cleansing, normalization, and quality is maintained efficiently and accurately in all systems within scope of responsibility. Qualifications for the role: Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering. 5+ years of experience working as a Fabrication Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, or Production Engineer within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Skilled in AutoCAD, CREO, SAP and Microsoft Excel. Advanced English.
