We are seeking an action-oriented Flexographic Printing Press Operator III who takes ownership of machine operations to deliver high-quality, zero-defect products. In this role, you will lead equipment setups, run production lines, and use your mechanical curiosity to troubleshoot issues, drive continuous improvement, and maximize uptime. Key Responsibilities Setup & Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate flexographic printing presses. Prepare cylinders, mount plates, adjust ink rollers, load material rolls, and run production orders efficiently. Quality Assurance: Inspect production using overlay gauges and precision measurement tools to maintain strict tolerances and high-quality standards. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance and investigate mechanical malfunctions to identify root causes and minimize downtime. Safety & Process Standards: Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ISO 9001 guidelines, and safety practices while partnering with team members to achieve site goals. Data Entry: Utilize computer software to accurately log finished production, material usage, and process documentation. High school diploma or GED equivalent. 2+ years of flexographic press operation or printing machine setup experience. Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting capability, and high attention to detail. Basic math proficiency and comfort using production reporting software/PC applications. Ability to read shop scales, tape measures, and follow written/verbal work instructions. Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 lbs., utilizing plant lift aids for heavier items.
