Job Description Summary Ensure smooth transactional execution between external suppliers and the respective intercompany and third-party customers. Act as competent counterpart between assigned external suppliers and various functions to guarantee high customer service level. Job Description Position Purpose: Ensure smooth transactional execution between external suppliers and the respective intercompany and third-party customers. Act as competent counterpart between assigned external suppliers and various functions to guarantee high customer service level. Your Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Develop and manage the relationship with External Suppliers and to customers for all supply related matters to guarantee high customers service levels. Driving as part of the interdisciplinary team tactical decisions, with responsibility to build a bridge between different functions such as LCM, AQ, Quality, SCM, SRM and final system Supply Operations Management activities including control of delayed orders, goods receive date. Monitor and maintain correct system transactions related to order management processes according to defined business cases based on planning & master data parameters including the up-to-date status of the order at any point in time. Ensure timely and smooth transmission of purchase orders to external suppliers· Perform order confirmation and inbound system booking according to business case· Ensure adherence of change management (change requests) for assigned suppliers· Conduct regular open order review with assigned external suppliers· Perform Toll Reconciliation with external suppliers and ensure correct bill of materials· Prepare and ensure availability of all relevant documentations and approvals needed to guarantee steadily product flow (e.g. Narcotic license, Packing list, COA, COO, Invoice)· Provide guidance to external suppliers for returns, write-off’s, credit/debit notes according to the established SOPs and guidelines.· Perform system bookings for returns and issue credit notes in a timely manner taking into consideration month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial timelines.· Define and decide on priorities for physical deliveries in collaboration with Distribution Experts· Drive and execute pruning/deactivation of SKUs based on input from Supply Chain Manager and country· Drive and maintain close relation and involve other functions (Life Cyle Management, QA, Supply Chain, Finance, Artwork, Logistics) to ensure regulatory and quality compliant product supply Support and implement new set-ups according to business need (e.g., distribution switches) Ensure correct system set-up and linkage to partner systems and support regular update on supply parameters e.g. creation of correct vendor· Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions of production flow· Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements (including record management) and continuous improvement of quality relevant processes within area of responsibility Competencies Advanced knowledge of SAP Well structured, strong conceptual thinking and process-orientation Good process documentation and presentation skills Must be a confident personality with a can-do attitude who is willing to expose issues and work collaboratively across functions to put in place systemic solutions that address root cause and de-liver on expected timelines Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong orientation towards actions, solutions and results Open communicator, strong influencing skills and team player. Customer (=user) orientation and ability to coach people In projects, able to set clear direction and align team and others on common objectives What you’ll bring to the role: Essential Requirements: Higher education (bachelor’s degree) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, at least vocational education in commercial professions complemented by additional training in business administration resp. supply chain management At least 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain role in Health Care, Consumer Goods, Chemical or another process industry Comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain processes incl. customer service and vendor management, Advanced SAP user knowledge Good understanding of ERP implementation methodology Computer literacy: Office applications (Excel, Power Point, WinWord) and Visio Why Sandoz?
