Job Description: As a Senior EMEA 3PM Metal & Electronics Operations Engineer, you will help ensure business continuity by providing technical support to third-party manufacturers, sustaining product and process quality, and improving service and cost performance in alignment with 3M requirements. In this role, you will support supplier readiness, drive operational excellence, and lead continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives across supplier manufacturing processes. Here, you will make an impact by: Leading supplier engagement for new product introduction, scale-up, launch activities, and Change Management Process execution at 3M and supplier sites Supporting supplier onboarding, new supplier assessments, and capital projects related to capability, capacity, quality, and cost improvement Managing day-to-day supplier operations to resolve urgent quality, delivery, cost, service, and business continuity issues Conducting supplier EHS and process audits, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements, and driving corrective and preventive actions Supporting supplier performance improvement in quality, delivery, reliability, process stability, and DPPM reduction Coordinating packaging standards, product specifications, SAP BOM data, SKU creation support, fixed assets, and material waste disposal activities as required Leading continuous improvement, cost reduction, and manufacturing footprint optimization initiatives Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in third-party manufacturing, supplier operations, manufacturing engineering, or manufacturing support Strong understanding of third-party manufacturing processes, supplier daily operations, and supplier performance management Solid project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills across global teams, local teams, and suppliers Ability to work cross-functionally with sourcing, quality, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, Continuous Improvement methodologies, and basic financial or statistical analysis Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage urgent supplier issues and drive practical solutions Supporting Your Well-being At 3M, we support your well-being, development, and work-life balance through competitive benefits and growth opportunities, including: Private medical care, life insurance, retirement scheme, and Multisport card Professional onboarding, training, and development opportunities Support for certifications and co-funding of studies Opportunity to work in a global, international environment Inclusive and friendly workplace culture with an open-door approach Opportunities to join community groups, CSR initiatives, volunteering activities, and integration events Please provide CV in English version.
