Role Summary: The Analyst - Procurement Excellence plays a key role in driving procurement performance through data analytics, KPI governance, and project coordination. The role is responsible for monitoring and publishing procurement KPIs, maintaining dashboards, generating actionable insights, and supporting market intelligence and benchmarking activities. It works closely with procurement, category, and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, drive corrective actions, and enable data-driven decision making. The role also acts as a catalyst for continuous improvement, helping enhance procurement effectiveness, compliance, and value delivery. Key Responsibilities: Calculate and publish more than 30 procurement KPIs on a monthly basis as part of the ProcureNext initiative. Ensure dashboards reflect the latest and accurate data by closely coordinating with DPEx and Category Procurement teams. Support generation of market intelligence reports to aid procurement decision making. Assist in running and maintaining the commodity benchmarking tool. Drive regular cadence reviews to improve KPIs that are in red status through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Provide spend analytics support to enable visibility, insights, and cost optimization opportunities. Analyze data on a regular basis to generate accurate reports, insights, and performance trends. Maintain dashboards and trackers to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely updates. Support business teams by providing analytical inputs for decision making and process improvement. Identify gaps & improvement opportunities through data analysis and recommend actionable solutions. Education Qualification Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum Experience Required 3-6 years of analytics experience Skills & attributes Technical Skills Excel and Power BI Skills Ability to run SQL queries (GBQ in our data lake - Google Cloud Platform) Familiarity with digital tools and technologies in procurement. Broad understanding of the Indian Pharma industry. Familiarity with PR and PO process Behavioral Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving skills. Learning Mindset Performance-oriented and good at building, leveraging relationships. Ability to work collaboratively with own team and cross-functional teams.
