As an Infrastructure Planner and Installer at Ubisoft Montreal, you will plan and complete light construction, renovation, and maintenance work across our leased spaces. You will ensure that work is estimated accurately, completed on schedule, performed safely, and compliant with the applicable Quebec Construction Code. This position is primarily based in Montreal and may require occasional work at our other Quebec studios. What you’ll do: Manage service requests related to space maintenance and repairs; Develop and monitor maintenance plans based on quarterly walkthroughs conducted with the logistics, design, and workplace teams; Complete light construction work, renovations, repairs, and painting; Coordinate contractor work and verify compliance; Maintain accurate cost records for each project; Provide weekly project updates to the person responsible; Manage the inventory of tools and hardware; Recommend improvements and projects related to workplace spaces; Complete other related tasks as required. What you bring to the team: Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in Carpentry (DEP); Hold a high school diploma or equivalent training, an asset; Hold a trade competency card in a renovation-related field, an asset; Hold a valid driver’s licence for occasional travel; Bring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in construction, renovation, or a related field; Apply basic carpentry knowledge; Understand the Quebec Construction Code; Plan and sequence manual work effectively; Take initiative when completing assigned work; Manage tasks with minimal supervision.
