The Opportunity This position works out of our Columbus, OH in the Nutrition Division. The Logistics Senior Project Manager will manage complex global logistics and capital projects from initiation through successful implementation. Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives including logistics operations, transportation and logistics contract negotiations, quality and continuous improvement programs, product launches, and product enhancements. Develop business cases to secure project funding and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives while balancing competing priorities and resource constraints. WHAT YOU’LL DO Manage global logistics, transportation, and capital projects from initiation through successful implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, timelines, budgets, and performance targets. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria while ensuring effective governance and risk management throughout the project lifecycle. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives including logistics network optimization, transportation and logistics contract negotiations, quality improvements, new product introductions, product enhancements, and operational transformation projects. Manage project plans, resources, dependencies, and priorities to deliver results in complex and dynamic business environments.Provide regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders regarding project status, risks, resource requirements, financial performance, and mitigation strategies. Develop and present business cases, capital requests, and funding justifications to support project approval and execution. This role has a high degree of organizational visibility and accountability, with responsibility for delivering strategic projects that directly influence business performance, customer satisfaction, operational capabilities, and long-term growth objectives. The position requires strong leadership, project management expertise, financial acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Maintain accountability for project financial performance, including budget development, forecasting, cost control, and achievement of expected business benefits. Identify project risks, evaluate alternatives, and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery and attainment of organizational goals. Operate with significant autonomy and decision-making authority, exercising sound judgment in evaluating risks, opportunities, and strategic alternatives. Develop actionable recommendations for leadership and drive decisions that support critical business objectives and long-term organizational success. Drive process improvements that enhance logistics performance, service levels, quality, compliance, productivity, and cost efficiency. Promote best practices in project management, change management, and operational execution across the organization. Travel domestically and internationally, up to 10%, as required to support project execution, supplier engagement, operational reviews, and business objectives. The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 – $198,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
