This role will help distinguish activity and compliance measures from meaningful indicators of adoption, maturity, quality, and impact. The Digital Product Manager will use data, stakeholder feedback, and learning from product teams to improve measurement approaches over time and help the Product Management Hub identify where teams are progressing, where barriers remain, and where additional support or enablement may be needed. Responsibilities DPOM Measurement and Metrics • Manage and improve defined measures for DPOM adoption, product management maturity, team health, product artifact quality, and related Product Management Hub priorities. • Apply established measurement frameworks and maturity dimensions across product teams, product groups, and business functions. • Use quantitative and qualitative evidence to evaluate whether measures provide meaningful signals of adoption, maturity, quality, and impact rather than simply tracking activity or completion. • Identify gaps in metrics, data, instrumentation, or measurement approaches and recommend practical improvements. • Define and document data, instrumentation, and KPI requirements for assigned measurement capabilities in partnership with analytics, technology, and reporting teams. Dashboards, Reporting, and Insights • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards, scorecards, reports, and related measurement tools directly and/or in partnership with analytics, technology, and reporting teams. • Gather, organize, analyze, and interpret DPOM-related data using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Jira Align, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, ChatGPT, or similar tools. • Prepare recurring reporting and analyses that support MBRs, QBRs, Product Management Hub reviews, and other operating rhythms. • Translate data, trends, qualitative feedback, and product-team observations into clear findings, risks, and recommendations. • Monitor data quality, reporting consistency, and usability of measurement outputs and work with appropriate partners to resolve issues. Product Management Maturity and Artifact Quality • Conduct and support product management maturity assessments using established DPOM frameworks and assessment approaches. • Evaluate product management practices and artifacts such as roadmaps, OKRs, product charters, product strategies, discovery practices, prioritization approaches, and value measures. • Identify recurring maturity gaps, adoption barriers, product management anti-patterns, and areas where teams may need additional guidance or support. • Partner with Product Management Catalysts to incorporate field-based insights and observations from product-team engagements. • Synthesize assessment findings so they can inform Product Operations priorities, playbook improvements, training, accelerator workshops, coaching, and other enablement activities. Reporting Operations and Continuous Improvement • Support integration of DPOM measurement and reporting into established Product Management Hub and enterprise operating rhythms. • Independently manage assigned reporting processes, analyses, or measurement capabilities and continuously improve their quality, usefulness, and efficiency. • Partner with Product Operations colleagues to connect measurement insights with improvements to DPOM standards, playbooks, tools, training, and adoption approaches. • Gather feedback from product teams, leaders, and reporting users to identify opportunities to improve measurement methods, dashboards, reporting experiences, and decision support. • Identify appropriate opportunities to use AI, automation, and reusable workflows to improve data analysis, artifact assessment, reporting, and insight generation. Cross-Functional Partnership and Product Community Contribution • Build trusted relationships with Product Operations, Product Management Catalysts, Digital Product Managers, technology leaders, business partners, analytics and reporting teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders. • Influence product-team partners and leaders through clear communication, preparation, data, and evidence-based recommendations. • Facilitate productive discussions about measurement findings, maturity gaps, reporting needs, data limitations, and improvement opportunities. • Partner with data, analytics, technology, privacy, security, regulatory, and governance specialists when measurement or reporting needs require additional expertise. • Share reusable insights, examples, and feedback that help improve DPOM measurement practices and strengthen the broader product management community.
