During your placement as QC Microbiology Environmental Monitoring Intern you will get experience of working with our team and you will get exposure to various Quality Control activities such as: Data entry in laboratory electronic systems e.g. LIMS/MODA/LES Support QC Investigations and change controls Participate in the OpEx strategy and support process improvements Prepare and process QC documentation in quality documentation management system Performing Environmental Monitoring in Classified Areas (including lot related monitoring), Utility Sampling (Including WFI, Clean Steam and Compressed Gas), associated testing of samples and completion in a timely and accurate manner of laboratory documentation. Issuance, receipt, and testing of biological indicators. Reading and reporting of environmental monitoring, BIs, and aseptic qualification sample results. Ensuring that any alert/action limit excursions are investigated according to site procedures. Receipt and processing of drug substance and drug product samples. Adherence to and improvement upon lean lab and 6S practices. Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping and safety is maintained in the laboratory. Provide support to other departments to ensure qualification and production schedules are adhered to. Paperwork review, and reconciliation of analysis performed in laboratory. Ensuring that any out of specification results are investigated according to site procedures. Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Registered Specifications. Assisting in authoring and reviewing documentation, including SOPs, as required. What Qualities Are We Looking For? Biotechnology, Microbiology, Science / Biology, Chemistry or related discipline of study Passionate about the biopharma sector and innovation in healthcare Strong communication skills Ability to work as a member of a team Energetic, collaborative and dedicated. Compensation Overview: 2, 213.90 € per month Pay for this internship/co‑op position is provided in accordance with local market practices and applicable laws. Pay may be offered as an hourly rate and/or monthly stipend, or other locally compliant structure. Pay is determined based on objective factors such as academic level, relevant experience, skills, and work location. Interns and co‑op participants may be eligible for limited benefits depending on program structure, work location, and local requirements. This is a temporary, time‑bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co‑op program and does not guarantee continued or permanent employment following program completion.
