This role may be based in Horsham, Pennsylvania, or conducted as a field-based position within the United States. This is a field-based role available in all cities within the Horsham, PA region. Purpose: The Senior Manager, Field Operations, Oncology will partner with Oncology senior leaders and cross-functional teams to identify, design, and optimize operational processes that enable the field sales organization to achieve its business objectives. This individual will translate strategy into disciplined execution and work directly with field sales leadership to drive consistent implementation across the organization. The role is accountable for developing and implementing scalable field operational capabilities and aligning support from internal business partners. The objective is to improve field effectiveness, customer engagement, and execution across the Oncology organization. The Senior Manager will establish and lead operational workstreams supporting the national Oncology field sales organization, including field deployment, incentive compensation, field reporting, technology enablement, performance metrics and dashboards, learning and development planning, external sales organization management, field business planning, account and roster management, targeting, onboarding, and national field meetings. Key Responsibilities As the Senior Manager, Field Operations, Oncology, you will: Lead planning and operational oversight for national and field meetings to maximize team engagement, learning, and execution impact. Partner with national and regional field leaders to develop manager coaching resources, field coaching reports, and performance metrics. Serve as a liaison between senior sales leaders and Learning & Development to develop, enhance, and deploy field training content and short- and long-term learning plans. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Leadership, Commercial Excellence, Analytics, Technology, Incentive Compensation, and other partners to optimize business processes and field execution. Support new-hire onboarding, field business planning and reviews, account-list management, roster management, deployment, and targeting excellence. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance measures that provide actionable insights to field leadership. Manage priorities, risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations across multiple concurrent workstreams. Identify and scale operational best practices that strengthen customer engagement and improve organizational effectiveness. Qualifications Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. Required: A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare industry. Demonstrated experience supporting or partnering with a field sales organization. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, planning, project management, and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, influence without direct authority, and communicate with senior leaders. Ability to manage competing priorities, identify and assess risk, and deliver high-quality work independently and collaboratively. Ability to travel up to 30%, including overnight travel as required. Preferred: Oncology or other specialty-market experience. Field sales, field leadership, sales operations, or commercial excellence experience. Experience with field deployment, incentive compensation, reporting and dashboards, customer targeting, business planning, or learning and development. Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and access from patient and provider perspectives. People management or team leadership experience. Strong technology utilization, presentation, facilitation, and change-management capabilities. Demonstrated commitment to learning and applying emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration and iteration, while building team AI literacy and confidence and reinforcing trusted, responsible use and sound judgment. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $122,000 - $212,750. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
