Job description
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations: · Ability to monitor process operations to assure conformance to quality standards and engineering specifications. · Help troubleshoot complex process, quality & yield problems. · Must be physically capable of standing for long periods of time (up to 12 hours) as well as lifting and carrying objects up to 20 pounds. · Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting issues and solutions. · Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multitask. · Ability to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities. · Ability to produce results in a timely manner. · Provide innovative, real time, quick response, and solutions to operational issues to help maintain manufacturing requirements while maintaining the highest level of quality. · Ability to utilize logical and objective data analysis to establish and track metrics to meet objectives. · Ability to participate on task force teams across departments and divisions. · Ability to train, mentor, develop, and lead cell leads/associates/junior technicians. · Ability to successfully plan, execute, analyze and deliver projects per schedule. · Strong data analysis ability, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills. · Aptitude and desire to learn new skills. · Strong verbal and written communication, including the writing of specifications and OCAPs. · Check the Yield Rule report often to review YE inventory, priority lots, timer lots and DWRs. · Set appropriate priorities in the bay, i.e. Avoid Tool downs for other areas, Escalate critical lots. · Communicate to various levels of the organization (engineering teams, management, process technicians in other areas). · Write recipes on inspection and SEM tools. · Disposition OOC lots. Specific Knowledge: 1. Proficient in WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, PROMIS and Datalog. 2. Knowledge of basic statistics, SPC and FDC is preferred, but not required. 3. Self-starter and high level of personal energy desired 4. Understanding Lean Manufacturing Fundamentals and concepts 5. Obtain tool certifications to support running wafers to meet defectivity and cycle time requirements *Grade may be higher or lower dependent on applicable experience More information about NXP in the United States...
