As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production. Role and responsibilitiesAs a Assembly Operator Precision Manufacturing, you will: perform incoming and outgoing inspections of components and auxiliary parts, including visual checks. prepare components, tools, consumables, and auxiliary parts according to work instructions. support assembly activities, including mounting, aligning, and bonding auxiliary parts to components in accordance with defined procedures. conduct quality inspections of assembly and bonding results using visual inspections and measurement equipment. perform production-related measurements following established instructions and processes. document production results, measurement data, and work progress according to defined requirements. support material handling, equipment maintenance, cleaning activities, and component transport within the production area. Education and experienceCompleted vocational training in a technical, industrial, or manufacturing-related field Initial professional experience in manufacturing, assembly, measurement, or a comparable production environment Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Experience using ERP systems such as SAP Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and in a shift model Strong fine motor skills and good visual acuity for precision work SkillsWorking in a highly precise manufacturing environment requires a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and adherence to established processes. Bauteile, Werkzeuge, Verbrauchsmaterialien und Zusatzteile gemäß Arbeitsanweisungen vorbereiten.
