The Application Specialist will provide short-term application support for the Cell DIVE business in Korea, with a primary focus on antibody validation, titration study execution, and operational support for market development activities. This role will support the planned titration study covering more than 60 antibodies in collaboration with Songdo Hospital, Seoul, helping generate quantitative evidence on Cell DIVE operating efficiency and potential running cost savings versus competing platforms. This position is reported to the Division Manager, LSR and is part of the LSR Commercial Team in Leica Microsystems Korea located in Seoul, Korea. This is a 4-month contingent role from September through December 2026. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Supports application specialists in their routine operational tasks, helping them focus on product demonstrations, customer visits, solution consulting, and creating face-to-face customer opportunities. Supporting antibody validation and titration study activities for Cell DIVE, including preparation, documentation, execution support, and follow-up coordination for more than 60 antibodies. Coordinate with Songdo Hospital and internal stakeholders to maintain study timelines, sample readiness, workflow accuracy, and structured communication throughout the project period. Compile study results, operating observations, and supporting evidence to help demonstrate Cell DIVE total cost of ownership and operating efficiency advantages. Collaborate with LSR team members and channel partners to contribute to the team’s growth. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in life sciences, biomedical science, biology, pathology, immunology, or a related field. Hands-on laboratory experience, preferably including antibody validation, titration, immunostaining, imaging workflows, sample preparation, or multiplex assay support. Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and ability to follow defined experimental protocols in a structured and reliable manner. Effective communication and coordination skills to work with Application Specialists, customers, and cross-functional teams in a time-sensitive project environment. Fluency in Korean and working-level English, with proficiency in Microsoft Office for data organization, reporting, and study documentation. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Experience with spatial biology, multiplex imaging, digital pathology, confocal microscopy, fluorescence microscopy, or related life science imaging applications. Prior exposure to hospital, pathology, research institute, or academic laboratory environments, especially in customer-facing or collaborative project settings. Ability to summarize experimental findings, workflow observations, and cost-related insights into clear reference materials for commercial and customer engagement use. Familiarity with antibody panels, reagent handling, image acquisition, or assay optimization processes. A proactive, organized working style with the flexibility to support both laboratory execution and commercial project needs during a defined 4-month assignment.
