Role SummaryThe HR Generalist (P2) is responsible for leading HR operational execution across employee life cycle management, HR system processing, leave and overtime administration, benefits support, associate inquiries, employee relations operations, onsite manufacturing support, and people analytics. This role drives accurate, timely and compliant service delivery while strengthening process governance, data integrity, standard work, and continuous improvement across HR Operations. This position reports to the HRSS Leader and is part of the Human Resources / HR Shared Services & Operations team, located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Manage full employee life cycle transactions from onboarding through movements, exits, documentation, and employee record updates, ensuring timely and accurate execution. Process employee changes in HR systems, including personal data, job changes, reporting lines, compensation inputs, position updates, and other workflow-based transactions. Own leave and overtime administration by validating inputs, coordinating approvals, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring alignment with policy, attendance records, and payroll timelines. Handle benefits operations, including insurance enrolment, employee communication, data validation, vendor coordination, claim-related support, and periodic reconciliation. Respond to associate inquiries across HR process areas, providing accurate guidance, tracking issues to closure, and escalating complex matters when required. Support Labour and Employee Relations operations by maintaining documentation, coordinating case inputs, preparing records, tracking actions, and ensuring confidentiality. Provide onsite HR support in manufacturing locations by partnering with local leaders, associates, HR stakeholders, and support functions to resolve operational HR matters. Prepare and maintain people analytics, dashboards, trackers, and recurring reports to support workforce decisions, compliance reviews, and process performance monitoring. Maintain accurate employee records, audit-ready documentation, knowledge articles, and process trackers in line with internal controls and data privacy requirements. Identify recurring process gaps, support root-cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR operations and shared services. The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field; postgraduate HR qualification preferred. 5–8 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HR Generalist operations, or site HR support. Experience handling employee life cycle transactions, HR systems, employee queries, leave and attendance operations, and benefits administration. Hands-on experience with HR systems, workflow processing, employee data management, documentation, and reporting tools. Working knowledge of leave, attendance, overtime, benefits, insurance, and payroll-linked HR processes. Experience maintaining employee records, audit-ready documentation, process trackers, and confidential HR/employee relations records. Experience supporting manufacturing or site HR operations, including coordination with local leaders, associates, HR stakeholders, and support functions. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / Environment Requirements:Ability to provide onsite HR support at manufacturing or site locations as required by business need. Ability to travel locally between offices, manufacturing sites, or associate support locations, if required. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Manufacturing or site HR operations, including employee relations documentation and operational HR support. People analytics, HR dashboards, recurring reports, and process performance tracking. Continuous improvement, standard work development, root-cause analysis, or HR process standardization.
