We are looking for a Chief of Staff to Chief Intelligence & Analytics Officer (CIAO) and Head of Group Intelligence and Analytics (GIA). Role Purpose: Serve as the strategic and operational partner to the Chief Intelligence & Analytics Officer and Head of CEO Office, enabling effective prioritization, governance and execution across the Intelligence & Analytics agenda and the CEO Office. The role connects strategy with delivery, provides high-quality decision support, coordinates critical cross-functional topics and ensures that commitments, risks and dependencies are managed with pace, discretion and rigor. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Partnership and Decision Support · Act as a trusted thought partner to the Chief Intelligence & Analytics Officer and Head of CEO Office, supporting prioritization, problem solving and preparation for key decisions. · Synthesize complex market, customer, competitor, molecule, business, analytics and AI topics into concise, decision-ready materials, recommendations and executive briefings. · Identify emerging issues, opportunities, interdependencies and topics requiring leadership attention; ensure timely escalation and resolution. Portfolio, Governance and Execution · Translate strategic priorities into an integrated roadmap with clear outcomes, milestones, accountabilities, dependencies and success measures. · Establish and run effective governance and operating rhythms across the function, including leadership meetings, portfolio reviews and follow-up on decisions and actions. · Coordinate cross-functional initiatives spanning Intelligence, Analytics, AI, Commercial, IT, HR, · Finance, Communications and the business platforms. · Track delivery against commitments, surface risks early and drive disciplined follow-through without duplicating the accountability of initiative owners. CEO Office Coordination · Support the Head of CEO Office in coordinating CEO Office priorities and ensuring aligned, high-quality and timely delivery across relevant stakeholders. · Prepare agendas, briefings, presentations, talking points and follow-up materials for senior leadership, Board-related and selected external engagements, as requested. · Facilitate the flow of information and decisions between the CEO Office, Executive Committee stakeholders and relevant functions while maintaining strict confidentiality. Leadership Team and Organizational Effectiveness · Enable an effective leadership team by clarifying priorities, strengthening collaboration and ensuring transparent decision and action tracking. · Support organizational planning, resource prioritization, budget coordination and talent discussions in partnership with Finance and HR. · Promote consistent ways of working, strong stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement across the organization. Communications and Stakeholder Engagement · Develop clear and compelling narratives for the Intelligence & Analytics strategy, progress, impact and priorities. · Coordinate leadership communications and stakeholder engagement plans, partnering with Corporate Communications and other subject-matter experts. · Build trusted relationships across functions and business platforms and represent the office in selected forums where delegated. Key Stakeholders: Reports to: Chief Intelligence & Analytics Officer and Head of CEO Office Key Internal Partners: CEO Office, Executive Committee and senior leaders, Intelligence & Analytics leadership team, Business Platforms, Finance, HR, IT, Commercial, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Legal and other global functions External Partners: Selected advisors, consulting partners, technology and data partners, and external stakeholders as required Required Skills and Competencies : Strategic Thinking: Connects enterprise priorities, business context and functional agendas; anticipates implications and translates direction into action. Influence and Partnership: Builds trust and alignment across senior stakeholders without relying on formal authority. Judgment and Discretion: Handles sensitive and confidential matters with maturity, sound judgment and integrity. Analytical Fluency: Understands data, analytics and AI concepts and can connect insights to business decisions and value creation. Organizational Agility: Navigates ambiguity, complexity and competing priorities across a global matrix organization. Change Leadership: Supports transformation, mobilizes stakeholders and embeds effective new ways of working. Qualification & Experience : Many years of experience in corporate strategy, market intelligence, business development, management consulting, or related fields, preferably within the pharma, biotech, CDMO, or life sciences sector. Strong analytical background with experience in market research, financial modelling, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership. Validated ability to analyse sophisticated business problems, develop strategic insights, and present clear recommendations. Strong experience in market research, and competitive analysis. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a structured and analytical mindset. Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with experience engaging senior leaders. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.
