This position reports to: R&D Department Lead __ Your Role and Resposibilities Your primary responsibility is to serve as Scrum Master for the System 800xA Core Team. Roughly half your time will be spent on planning, tracking, and facilitating team agility. The rest of your time will be spent contributing hands-on as an active member in the team. The System 800xA Core Team is a cross-functional unit responsible for managing system-wide implementations and coordination across our global development streams. The team is distributed across Västerås, Malmö, and Bangalore, working in close daily collaboration with colleagues worldwide. You will orchestrate and track all team activities in a unified backlog, driving the planning and effectiveness. Over time, you will grow into one or more of the team's core responsibility areas. This role reports to the 800xA System Stream Lead and is based in Västerås or Malmö, Sweden. The System-level responsibilities consist of Release management, 3rd party software management, cybersecurity coordination, user documentation integration, and automation of repetitive tasks amongst other. Further discussion and description of these areas will be done in more detail during our conversations with candidates. Your responsibilities include: Plan, coordinate, and track all activities across the System Core Team using the team backlog. Facilitate effective collaboration and communication between the team, Product Owner, and other key stakeholders. Create, maintain, and monitor the team's delivery plan, ensuring transparency of sprint progress and performance. Coach and support team members in Agile ways of working, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Facilitate backlog refinement, prioritization, estimation, and sprint planning activities. Contribute hands-on to team activities while continuously expanding your system-level knowledge and expertise. Monitor backlog health, including estimation accuracy, sprint commitments, burndown progress, and delivery outcomes. Ensure clear and effective communication between the team and stakeholders in close partnership with the Product Owner. Drive alignment with PCP principles and processes while actively identifying and implementing improvements. Qualifications for the Role Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field. Good understanding of software development processes and practices. Interest in and understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and a strong willingness to further develop expertise in the tool. Strong curiosity, learning agility, and a passion for exploring new areas and challenges. Previous experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or in a similar Agile coordination role is preferred. Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is considered an advantage.
