Job Summary Reporting to the Chief Digital and Innovation Officer (CDIO), the Head of Digital for Commerce and Experience is a strategic and outcome-focused product and engineering executive responsible for leading the vision, product strategy, and delivery of end-to-end delivering a scalable, data-driven, and future-forward bespoke digital platform for global sales and services. This will give enterprise and hyperscaler customers, and the partners who sell to them, a single place to buy our products and services and see how those are performing — across every region in which we operate. This VP will serve as a technology and innovation partner to the co-sponsors - Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Chief Product Officer (CPO) – with aim of delivering frictionless, zero-touch and world-class experiences for both customers and our channel partners. The ultimate goal is to extend the experience to employees globally. This leader will own product strategy, UI/UX design, engineering and operations and full delivery for the platforms while collaborating with CRO, CPO and Data Center Operations users, and have full end-to-end accountability and empowerment for their platform with AI, cyber-security and architecture teams also as part of their extended leadership teams. The platform will underpin billions of dollars of revenue and plays a pivotal role in shaping how Equinix evolves its sales and service capabilities in the age of AI inferencing. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Strategic partner to CDIO, CRO and CPO organization to define and execute a product and platform strategy for portals Champion an AI-first and data-driven mindset and collaborate closely with the AI team to help bring predictive AI to targeted marketing and propensity to buy to maximise revenue Partner with business operations leaders to drive process optimization to bring about a full process transformation alongside the digital transformation. This is a key aspect and a collaborative mindset with a delivery focus is key - $10Bn of revenue is dependent on this Product Ownership and Execution Own the full product lifecycle—from ideation and prioritization to delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement—of all portals supporting the CRO and CPO functions Build and lead a high-performing product team to drive innovation, agile delivery, and measurable outcomes Prioritize features and investments based on business value, ROI, and stakeholder input, ensuring transparency and alignment Stakeholder Engagement and Change Leadership Act as the voice of the business within DIO and the voice of digital within the Revenue and Products organizations Proactively engage with CRO (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Channel Partner), CPO (product leaders) and Data Center Operations to understand pain points and opportunities as well as Business Operations for process simplification Lead change management efforts and champion digital adoption across the revenue organization Innovation and Continuous Improvement Lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and operational performance Utilize data analytics and customer feedback to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement Identify and apply emerging technologies to improve sales performance, customer insights, and operational agility Drive automation, AI/ML, and analytics use cases that improve forecasting accuracy, customer targeting, personalization, and revenue predictability Benchmark and stay informed about trends in sales technology, revenue intelligence, and commercial platforms People Leadership Build, coach and expand the Commerce & Experience digital team to support the business’ success Qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience Skills and experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred 12+ years of experience in product management, digital transformation or technology leadership with at least five years in a senior leadership role related to B2B marketplaces or sales and service portals Proven success leading digital initiatives that support revenue growth and commercial growth Strong business acumen and understanding of sales, marketing go-to-market dynamics and revenue strategies Attributes Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for innovation.
