Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech We are searching for the best talent for Asset Management Engineer Co-Op to be in PR Anasco. The Co-op term is from January to December, 2027. Full time requirement (40 hours per week). Purpose: The Manufacturing Engineering Co-op provides technical and operational support to manufacturing processes, equipment, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment while contributing to projects that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and compliance. You will be responsible for: Supporting manufacturing engineering projects focused on process optimization, yield improvement, and waste reduction. Analyzing production, quality, and equipment performance data to identify improvement opportunities. Assisting with troubleshooting manufacturing processes and equipment. Participating in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives. Supporting validation, qualification, and process characterization activities. Developing and updating work instructions, visual aids, and engineering documentation. Conducting time studies, capacity analyses, and workflow assessments. Collaborating with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to implement sustainable process improvements. Presenting project findings, data analysis, and recommendations to engineering and operational leadership. Qualifications / Requirements: Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering fields. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework. Enrollment, although not necessarily taking classes, in an accredited college or university during the Co-op is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Demonstrated interest in manufacturing, process improvement, and operational excellence. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to organize assignments, document technical work, and communicate effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Exposure to statistical analysis, process capability studies, and Six Sigma tools. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge or awareness of manufacturing within regulated industries, including Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Biotechnology environments. Demonstrated leadership experience through campus organizations, projects, or community service activities. Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI, Minitab, Excel, or similar platforms.
