Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager PHC LADMAR, Colombia – Technical Director to lead Quality Assurance and Technical Direction activities for the PHC business in Colombia and support Quality operations across LADMAR. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and the effective execution of Quality Management Systems throughout the product storage, distribution, and market-release processes. The position works closely with local and regional Quality teams, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, commercial teams, suppliers, third-party logistics partners, and health authorities. It also provides leadership to the Quality organization while driving continuous improvement and a strong quality culture across the business. Key ResponsibilitiesLead Quality Assurance and Technical Direction activities for the PHC portfolio in Colombia and support Quality activities across LADMAR. Ensure compliance with applicable local regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Storage and Distribution Practices. Oversee product release to market and ensure appropriate quality disposition of pharmaceutical products, dietary supplements, cosmetics, food products, medical devices, and diagnostic reagents. Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System, including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, risk management, and quality documentation. Lead and support internal, external, supplier, and health-authority audits, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are properly implemented. Manage critical quality incidents, product complaints, recalls, returns, rejections, and other product-quality-related events. Monitor Quality KPIs and identify opportunities to improve processes, compliance, and overall Quality performance. Partner with Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing, Sales, suppliers, 3PL partners, regional Quality teams, and health authorities. Provide Quality guidance to business initiatives and projects to ensure risks are identified and addressed early. Lead and develop the Quality team, promoting a strong culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Job Qualifications Top QualificationsLicensed Pharmaceutical Chemist with a valid professional registration that allows the individual to perform Technical Director responsibilities in Colombia. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Technical Direction, Production, Regulatory Affairs, and/or Quality Control. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, GMP, Good Storage and Distribution Practices, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements. Experience managing quality deviations, CAPAs, audits, risk assessments, and product quality decisions. Experience with regulatory matters related to pharmaceutical and/or healthcare products. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely, risk-based Quality decisions. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence different levels of the organization. Advanced English proficiency. Nice to HaveExperience working in a regional or multi-country Quality Assurance environment. Previous exposure to INVIMA and/or other health authorities. Experience working with 3PL warehouses, suppliers, distributors, and external manufacturing or logistics partners. Experience across multiple healthcare product categories, such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, dietary supplements, or diagnostic reagents. Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing, Commercial, and regional Quality teams. Previous experience leading or developing Quality teams.
