The OpportunityAs the Manufacturing Manager (Systems & Quality), you will govern manufacturing quality systems to maintain compliance with cGMP, food safety regulations, corporate standards and internal procedures, ensuring sustained inspection readiness. You will provide oversight and leadership of manufacturing food safety programs, ensuring risks are identified, controlled and continuously improved in alignment with HACCP and applicable regulatory requirements. You will ensure manufacturing computerized systems (e.g. SAP, POMS) are fit for use, validated and compliant, with strong adherence to data integrity (ALCOA+) principles. You will lead manufacturing input into deviations, investigations, CAPA and change control, ensuring robust root cause analysis, effective actions and prevention of recurrence. You will oversee systems and controls related to inventory accuracy, traceability and material usage and identifying systemic opportunities for improvement. You will also manage and govern budgets related to manufacturing systems, food safety programs and compliance activities, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality or safety. What You’ll DoGovern manufacturing Quality Management Systems (QMS), including deviations, investigations, CAPA, change control and audit readiness. Ensure manufacturing compliance with cGMP, food safety regulations, corporate quality standards and data integrity requirements. Lead manufacturing food safety systems (HACCP, PRPs), ensuring effective risk identification, control and regulatory compliance. Monitor, trend and report quality, compliance, and food safety KPIs; identify risks and drive continuous improvement. Act as manufacturing systems representative for internal, corporate, customer and regulatory audits and inspections. Govern manufacturing computerized systems (e.g., SAP, POMS) and inventory processes to ensure accuracy, traceability and compliance. Analyze material usage and inventory discrepancies, drive corrective actions in partnership with Operations, Supply Chain and Finance. Provide financial governance and budget oversight for manufacturing systems and quality activities. Coach and mentor team members to strengthen systems thinking, compliance culture and business acumen. Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), hygiene rules, and sanitation standards. Any other duties as assigned by manager. Requirements6 - 8 years of experience in regulated manufacturing (Food, Nutritional, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or similar). Strong experience in manufacturing Quality systems, CAPA management and audit support. Hands-on exposure to SAP, POMS, inventory controls and material usage analysis. Experience supporting budget management and financial governance in an Operations environment. Ability to make sound, risk-based decisions balancing quality, food safety, and cost. Strong influencing, analytical, and communication skills. Effective collaboration across Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain functions. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Life Sciences, or related discipline. Professional certifications (Quality, Food Safety, Lean/Six Sigma, Project Management) are an advantage.
