TrendAI™, the global AI security leader and enterprise business unit of Trend Micro, empowers organizations with full AI visibility and consolidated security that inspires confidence, drives innovation, and eliminates risk. At TrendAI™, we’re always seeking exceptional talent; people who want to collaborate with the best and push boundaries together. Here, your work goes beyond building a career. You will help protect what matters and play a vital role in shaping a safer, more trustworthy AI-powered future. AI Fearlessly. The RoleThe Finance Technology Lead will own the technology, data and automation agenda for the Finance organisation. The role will be responsible for defining and delivering the Finance technology strategy, improving the existing Finance technology landscape, and building the roadmap toward a globally integrated, automated and data-driven Finance operating model. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Technology, Data and AI, partnering closely with Finance process owners and the IT organisation. The successful candidate will bring a solid understanding of Finance processes together with hands-on knowledge of AI, automation, agentic workflows, data and reporting solutions. A critical part of the role will be to build, develop and lead a small Finance Technology team with the combined capabilities required across finance systems, ERP, data, automation, AI, product management and transformation delivery. This is not a traditional Finance role. We are looking for someone who can understand how Finance operates and, more importantly, apply technology to transform how Finance work gets done. Key ResponsibilitiesFinance technology strategy: Define and maintain the target Finance technology architecture and multi-year roadmap across ERP, billing, revenue accounting, close, consolidation, planning, reporting, treasury, tax, data and automation. Build the FinTech capability: Design, recruit, develop and lead a small multidisciplinary Finance Technology team, ensuring the team collectively possesses the product, systems, data, automation, AI and programme-delivery capabilities required to execute the Finance technology strategy. Current-state optimisation: Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to understand the existing Finance systems, interfaces and data landscape and identify practical opportunities to improve performance before major platform transformation begins.. Automation & AI: Establish and deliver a pipeline of automation opportunities across Finance using workflow, low-code technology, AI and other digital tools to eliminate manual processing, reconciliation and reporting effort. ERP & platform strategy: Define Finance requirements for the future ERP architecture and lead the Finance side of platform evaluation, design and implementation when appropriate. Finance product ownership: Establish a product-management approach for Finance applications, with clear roadmaps, ownership, priorities, users, service levels and measurable outcomes. Data & analytics: Define Finance data architecture and requirements, including common master data, reporting dimensions, data quality, integration and BI/analytics capabilities. Process enablement: Partner with Finance Process Owners across R2R, Supplier-to-Pay, Revenue-to-Cash, FP&A and other Finance areas to translate target processes into scalable technology solutions. Systems integration: Work with IT to reduce manual interfaces and establish robust integrations across Finance, commercial systems, marketplaces, HR, banking and other relevant platforms. Transformation delivery: Lead Finance technology initiatives from concept through business case, design, implementation, testing, adoption and benefits realisation. Technology governance: Establish standards for Finance technology investment, application rationalisation, prioritisation and solution design. Vendor and partner management: Evaluate and manage software vendors, implementation partners and specialist providers, using external capacity where it is more efficient than building permanent internal capability. What We Are Looking ForThe successful candidate will demonstrate strong experience across many – but not necessarily all – of the following: Finance technology or Finance transformation leadership Core Finance processes including R2R, P2P, O2C, Consolidation and FP&A Major ERP platforms such as D365, SAP or Oracle Finance systems architecture Data, reporting and analytics Automation, workflow and AI Product management Cross-functional programme delivery Multinational and multi-entity environments Subscription/software business models and recurring billing What Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role means moving Finance away from regional, manual, fragmented and repetitive processes and systems toward globally standardised, automated, data-driven and AI-enabled ways of working. At Trend Micro, we embrace change, empower people, and encourage innovation in a connected world. Our diversity and multicultural workforce are key contributing factors to our success across the globe. We like to have fun while taking our culture seriously. We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to this regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, nationality, age, citizenship, sexual orientation, marital status, gender identity or veteran status.
