Role Overview: As an Associate Specialist, Platform Engineering (DevXOps), you will support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our engineering platforms, mainly JFrog Artifactory, GitHub Actions Runners and Ansible Automation Platform. You will work alongside senior platform engineers to learn modern DevOps and Platform Engineering practices while helping maintain reliable, secure, and scalable services used by development teams across the organization. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, CI/CD, automation, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and platform operations. The successful candidate will serve as a platform point of contact (SPOC) for selected services, participate on scheduled on-call rotation, troubleshoot platform issues, and contribute to automation initiatives that improve developer productivity and operational excellence. What should you have: Support daily operations, maintenance, and monitoring of DevXOps platforms and services. Serve as a primary point of contact (SPOC) for designated platform components under the guidance of senior engineers. Assist with troubleshooting, incident management, problem resolution, and root cause investigations. Participate in the team's on-call rotation and support production systems to ensure platform availability and reliability. Contribute to platform automation. Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developer self-service capabilities. Monitor platform health using observability tools. Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, and operational procedures. Follow established security, compliance, and operational best practices. Continuously develop technical skills through mentorship, training, and hands-on project work. What will you do: Required Skills & Experience Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 1+ years of experience or relevant internship/co-op experience in DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Systems Administration. Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and system administration concepts. Familiarity with cloud platforms. Familiarity with Git and version control practices. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts. Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes concepts. Basic scripting skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages. Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations. Strong desire to learn new technologies and platform engineering practices. undefined Soft Skills: Problem-solving and analytical thinking. Exposure to GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes. Experience with scripting or automation projects. Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus.
