Job Description About the Role Join our HR Technology team as a Senior Specialist focused on the configuration and support of Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) and Talent Management solutions. You will work within a complex, matrixed environment to assess business requests and drive performance across our global technology stack, including Workday, Phenom People, Ajinga, SHL and many others. What You Will Do System Configuration: Execute configuration within the Workday application, specifically focusing on Recruiting and Talent modules Vendor Management: Support third-party talent acquisition systems, including Phenom People and Ajinga and provide light configuration and testing in conjunction with the vendor teams Demand Management: Support, assess, and manage new business requests, recommending alternative technical solutions to improve HR/HRIS processes Collaboration: Partner closely with HR Technology Process and Solutions leads, Global Centers of Excellence (COEs), and Operations Teams Technical Troubleshooting: Apply technical expertise to resolve complex business problems independently and collaboratively Required Qualifications Experience/Education: Minimum 4 years of experience in HRIS, IT, or HR Operations with a Bachelor's degree, OR minimum 6 years of experience with a High School diploma Workday Configuration: Minimum 2 years hands on experience in Workday Global Talent Acquisition/Recruiting and/or Talent Management Requirements Engineering: Experience translating end-user business requirements into technical system functionality Technology Testing: Minimum 2 years leading or executing technology User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-to-end system testing Compliance: Demonstrated understanding of data privacy principles and practices Project Leadership: Experience leading projects within deadline-driven, fast-paced environments both as an individual contributor and team member Environment: Proven experience managing multiple high-priority projects/tasks Communication: Proven experience presenting system capabilities and technical solutions to stakeholders Analysis: Demonstrated experience utilizing analytical skills to resolve complex business problems Process Improvement: Proven experience in business process analysis and identifying HRIS improvements Languages: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Cross-Functional Knowledge: Understanding of related Workday modules, including HCM, Compensation and Security Recruiting Ecosystems: Experience with Phenom People and/or AJINGA platforms Reporting: Knowledge of Workday report writing Regional Privacy: Knowledge of China PIPL laws AI Familiarity: Familiarity with HiredScore or other AI-powered recruitment tools Change Management: Experience acting as a change agent and leading others through organizational or system changes What we offer: Exciting work in a great team, global projects, international environment Opportunity to learn and grow professionally within the company globally Hybrid working model, flexible role pattern Pension and health insurance contributions Internal reward system plus referral program 5 weeks annual leave, 5 sick days, 15 days of certified sick leave paid above statutory requirements annually, 40 paid hours annually for volunteering activities, 12 weeks of parental contribution Cafeteria for tax free benefits according to your choice (meal vouchers, sport, culture, health, travel, etc.), Multisport Card Vodafone, Raiffeisen Bank, Foodora, and other discount programs Up-to-date laptop and iPhone Parking in the garage for drivers or showers for bikers Competitive salary, incentive pay, and many more Required Skills: Portfolio, Programme, and Project Support, Process Improvements, Talent Management System, Workday Implementation, Workday Learning, Workday Recruiting, Workday Security Preferred Skills: Current Employees apply HERE Current Contingent Workers apply HERE Search Firm Representatives Please Read Carefully Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA, also known as Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC, Rahway, NJ, USA, does not accept unsolicited assistance from search firms for employment opportunities.
