Job description
Job Description: 20 to 25 years of overall IT experience, including 15+ years of deep expertise in WMA/Vantage products and Life Insurance systems. Provide advanced production support and troubleshooting for mission-critical Mainframe applications and environments. Demonstrate strong technical proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and related Mainframe technologies. Lead technical support, incident resolution, and performance optimization for Mainframe-based applications. Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain complex Mainframe applications while adhering to established coding and quality standards. Analyze business and technical requirements and implement enhancements for complex application modules. Support and coordinate application deployments, releases, and production installations while ensuring minimal business impact. Analyze batch and online processing workflows and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and operational documentation. Conduct and participate in technical reviews, code reviews, and walkthrough sessions to ensure solution quality and best practices. Plan, manage, and execute development activities in accordance with defined methodologies, processes, and governance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and support organizations to drive successful project and production outcomes. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development and support teams. Life Insurance domain experience is strongly preferred. Preferred SkillsExpertise in Vantage/WMA product architecture and functionality. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and production support skills. Experience leading large-scale enhancement, modernization, and support initiatives in Mainframe environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
