Associate Lead Service Manager I- HAM Category: Digital & IT Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, IN #job-location Department- Global HAM, Print & Patch Location- Bangalore Are you passionate about service leadership, hardware asset governance and working with global stakeholders? We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead the governance, vendor management, commercial coordination and continuous improvement of our Hardware Asset Management service. You will help strengthen global control of end-user hardware throughout the full asset lifecycle. The position As Associate Lead Service Manager – Hardware Asset Management, you will be accountable for service performance, vendor governance and commercial coordination for the Hardware Asset Management service. You will provide leadership and prioritisation across the specialist workstreams while ensuring risks, decisions and actions are visible to the relevant governance and management forums. Lead end-to-end service governance for Hardware Asset Management, covering service performance, risks, decisions and improvement priorities. Manage vendors and coordinate delivery, risks, actions and commercial matters, including vendor governance meetings and follow-up. Coordinate invoice validation, discrepancy resolution, budget inputs, forecasts, cost follow-up and settlement-related matters. Coordinate compliance activities, audit preparation, evidence collection and remediation follow-up. Monitor SLAs and service performance and drive corrective and improvement actions where required. Prepare consolidated management reporting covering service performance, commercial status, risks and key decisions. Manage regional hardware asset management stakeholders and conduct governance across regions. Coordinate with Finance, IT Security, Sustainability, Procurement, Product and technical teams on relevant GHAM requirements. Ensure newly appointed regional hardware asset management responsible receive the required training and onboarding, and maintain supporting guidance. Coordinate automation and enhancement opportunities and align priorities across Technical & Process, Compliance & Data Quality, and Operations & Disposal workstreams. Ensure meeting-room and printer asset governance is included in relevant GHAM controls, reporting and stakeholder follow-up. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate who can bring the following skills and experience: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a relevant field, or equivalent job experience. 10+ years of experience in IT service management, IT Asset Management or a related enterprise IT function. 2+ years working knowledge of IT Asset Management (could be with Laptops, mobile devices, printers or meeting room devices) Overall ITIL processes and ServiceNow experience. Demonstrated experience in vendor governance, service-level management and commercial coordination. Experience with invoice management, budget coordination, compliance and audit support. Ability to lead global stakeholder and governance forums. Exposure to regulated or audit-controlled environments. Interpersonal skills Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with fluency in spoken and written English. Structured, accountable and comfortable working independently with a high level of initiative. Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, documentation and presentation skills. Ability to coordinate across functions, regions and time zones with a global and cross-cultural mindset. Service-minded and flexible, with a clear focus on quality and continuous improvement. Ability to reach agreement across differing views and challenge vendor solutions with relevant questions. About the department You will be part of the Global HAM, Print & Patch department within the GIWS GBS unit of Novo Nordisk’s Enterprise IT organisation, based in Bangalore, India. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders at headquarters and across regions and affiliates. Most collaboration can be managed from India using digital collaboration tools, while some travel may be required based on business need and CO2 restrictions.
