Project Controls Manager

Job description

Lead project controls activities across complex capital projects and programmes. Establish and maintain integrated project controls frameworks, governance processes, and reporting structures. Manage project performance across schedule, cost, risk, change, and progress measurement. Develop and maintain project baselines, forecasts, and performance metrics. Produce executive-level reporting and communicate key trends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations. Facilitate risk and opportunity management processes and support mitigation planning. Manage change control processes and ensure impacts on cost and schedule are properly assessed and reported. Perform schedule analysis, critical path review, progress validation, and forecasting. Support earned value management (EVM) and performance measurement where applicable. Coordinate with client, contractor, commercial, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and accurate reporting. Drive continuous improvement in project controls processes, tools, and reporting methodologies. Mentor junior project controls professionals and contribute to capability development. Expert knowledge of project controls across cost, schedule, risk, change, and reporting disciplines. Strong planning and scheduling capability, including critical path analysis and forecasting. Experience developing and maintaining integrated project controls frameworks and governance processes. Proficient in risk management, change control, and earned value management principles. Advanced analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across client, contractor, and delivery teams. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Power BI, Microsoft Project, and advanced Excel. Proven leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities.
