As an Operational Technology (OT) Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of the technologies that power our global manufacturing network. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between plant operations, engineering teams, digital manufacturing experts, technology vendors, and global IT stakeholders. You will support and enhance OT environments that enable safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production while ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions. What you´ll do Serve as the primary Operational Technology (OT) Consultant and trusted advisor for manufacturing sites, partnering with plant operations, engineering teams, digital manufacturing specialists, vendors, and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless production support Manage and optimize OT environments that support critical manufacturing processes, including SCADA, PLC, HMI, DCS, MES, and Industrial IoT technologies, ensuring system reliability, stability, and performance Drive digital manufacturing, smart factory, and Industry 4.0 initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across global manufacturing operations Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex OT-related incidents while implementing preventive measures to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system enhancements, upgrades, lifecycle management, and technology projects to ensure OT solutions align with business and operational requirements Establish and maintain OT standards, governance processes, and technical documentation to support secure, efficient, and sustainable manufacturing operations globally Champion best practices in industrial automation and manufacturing technology, fostering innovation and operational excellence across Henkel’s manufacturing network
