Your Role Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, International Relations or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification preferred. 7–9 years of experience across Market Intelligence, Competitive Intelligence, Commercial Insights, Category Analytics, Channel or Customer Insights, Strategy, Data and Analytics or Consulting. Demonstrated experience independently managing market or competitor intelligence workstreams and coordinating analysts, data teams or external providers. Strong experience in 5C or market assessment, competitor benchmarking, trend analysis, commercial interpretation and executive storytelling. Experience in global, multi-market or regulated consumer environments is preferred; tobacco or NGP experience is advantageous. In this role you will play a key role in: 5C market assessments, cross-market synthesis and strategic scenario development. Category, segment and brand performance analysis, including 4P diagnostics. Channel, trade and customer intelligence, ROI assessment and profit-pool analysis. Competitor monitoring, benchmarking, gap analysis and response recommendations. Regulatory, excise, tax, macroeconomic and geopolitical context intelligence. Data cleansing, standardisation, aggregation, validation and source governance. Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; experience with Power BI, visualisation, statistical or intelligence-analysis tools. HIVE, MSS, Databricks, web or media monitoring, social listening and external market-data sources. Repositories, taxonomies, metadata, alerts, version control and reporting automation.
