This position reports to: Production Planning Team Lead __ ABB’s Drives factory in Jüri, Estonia, was established in 2005 and is part of ABB’s global Motion business. The factory is one of ABB’s major production sites for low-voltage drives (frequency converters), power inverters and converters. Our products are used across industries, including manufacturing and marine applications, to control electric motors, improve process efficiency and reduce energy consumption by up to 50%. Most of the drives produced in Jüri are exported to global markets. Your role and responsibilities We are looking for a Production Planner to join our team at the ABB Drives factory in Jüri. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production based on customer demand, material availability and production capacity. You will work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement and Production teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment, timely deliveries and an efficient production flow. The role also offers an opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement within the production planning function. Working model: onsite #LIonsite Plan and schedule customer orders based on material availability, production capacity and required delivery dates, including creating production orders in the system. Track order fulfillment and shipments, and respond promptly to delays, material shortages, and other supply chain disruptions. Coordinate production changes with the Sales organisation and communicate potential changes to order conditions and delivery dates. Monitor sales forecasts and adjust production plans to reflect changes in demand and available capacity. Check and control material consumption, including the availability of customer-specific and special materials. Identify and resolve day-to-day production planning issues, working cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement and Production. Qualifications for the role Educational background in Production, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field; relevant manufacturing experience can also be considered. Highly developed skills in analysis and planning, along with the ability to set priorities and address operational challenges without assistance. Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience is an advantage. Good Excel and general IT skills, with an ability to work accurately with data and planning information. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support work across multiple departments. Good command of Estonian and English; More about us We care.
