This position reports to: Production Manager __ Your Role and Responsibilities We are looking for a new Production Supervisor to join our team at ABB Oy, IEC LV Motors in Vaasa. In this role you will act as the supervisor for a team of production workers in our component manufacturing. You will collaborate with the team to ensure that the production runs smoothly with quality, capacity, schedules, safety and needed maintenance in mind. You will lead, train, and motivate a team, enforce safety protocols, and implement quality control measures. You will be mainly accountable for: Supervising the component manufacturing /foundry area team and managing the execution of production plans Working together with the team, scheduling and performing production activities and ensuring timely delivery Planning and scheduling frequent equipment and machine maintenance to ensure safety and performance Leading with example and ensuring as a team that all health and safety regulations are met in production Qualifications for the RoleB.Sc. level degree from a relevant technical field, such as Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar Previous work experience from production in an industrial company with understanding of 5S and lean principles Development oriented attitude - you are able to suggest and implement process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity Ability to lead and motivate a team, plan, oversee and, support operations. Solutions-oriented approach and decision-making abilities Good collaboration and communication skills to support collaboration with fluency in Finnish, and good English skills Good skills in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams etc.) Previous experience with ERP systems like SAP is seen as a benefit Previous knowledge or experience with ABB products, components and technologies is seen as a benefit Benefits Our culture and benefits reflect our values: courage, care, curiosity and collaboration.
