What the job looks like Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as: Strategically support Grünenthal’s ambitious external growth strategy definition and execution, working closely with the business, and other key functions (e.g. finance, operations) Driving end-to-end M&A projects, including strategy, business-case modelling, due diligence and execution Developing deal rationales, investment theses and synergies, as well as preparing investment memoranda for senior management Preparation of market and competitive analyses and industry screenings for the identification of potential acquisition targets / assets or investment candidates Synthesize findings into insights across projects, including implications that inform business decisions, Communicates and advocates insights to senior business leaders Support strategic business projects for Grünenthal Group, the CEO, and the Corporate Executive Board; independently own major corporate strategy projects/programs What you’ll bring to the table To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have: 5-8 years consulting experience in one of the top tier strategy consulting firms at senior project manager level or corporate finance roles including but not limited to Corporate Development, Private Equity, Venture Capital and/or Investment Banking Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, science or equivalent Significant commercial due-diligence experience in pharma and a strong command of the M&A process Sound knowledge of Pharma/Healthcare Strong project and program leadership experience Working across global, cross-functional teams, navigating ambiguity and influencing stakeholders at all levels Ability to reduce complexity into strategy decision recommendations Advanced communication-, presentation- and negotiation-skills Excellent English communication skills 1d9a1869/47e751ea-9436-4989-87dd-3.jpg Marlen Brandl 1d9a1869/4c1b1cc3-b9e5-4add-8140-4.jpg
