ServiceNow · Sydney, au
Job description
It all started when engineer Fred Luddy wrote code that automated a tedious task for his coworker, Phyllis. She cried tears of joy. That moment inspired Fred to build a company that could do that for everyone—freeing people from busywork so they could focus on meaningful work. Today, ServiceNow is the AI control tower for business reinvention. Our ServiceNow AI platform brings together any AI, any data, and any workflow— helping 85% of the Fortune 500® work smarter, faster, and better. We're building an AI-native culture where technology and talent are unstoppable together. And we're just getting started. Join us to put AI to work for people. What you get to do in this role: You will engage with our largest customer's C-Suite Executives—particularly CROs, CISOs, CEOs, and Board members—leveraging your extensive governance, risk, cybersecurity, and operational transformation experience to articulate how breakthrough security and risk outcomes are achieved on the NOW platform. In the course of these CXO engagements, you will advise and work closely with key internal Executives and our Sales and Strategy teams to build strategic GTM strategy and thought leadership positioning around our risk, governance, and security capabilities. Accelerate sales cycles by meeting and working closely with our most strategic customer CROs, CISOs, and Board-level risk stakeholders (Fortune 500), positioning our AI Control Tower, patented identity access management (Veza), and IT/IoT/OT security capabilities (Armis) as transformational solutions for AI governance and cybersecurity resilience. Partner with client CROs and CISOs to develop enterprise cybersecurity and governance transformation strategies, and position ServiceNow as the orchestration platform for risk, security, and compliance at scale. Build credible thought leadership through industry-leading governance, risk, and cybersecurity frameworks that help ServiceNow strategic clients accelerate their digital risk and security transformations—particularly around AI governance, identity governance, and threat intelligence integration. Develop and drive prospect pipelines by hosting CXO risk and security roundtables, delivering industry keynotes on governance and AI safety, and leading executive-level field marketing activities focused on Board and C-suite risk conversations. Provide critical product and marketing feedback to Engineering, Security, and Field Marketing teams on our risk, security, and governance product roadmap, with special focus on competitive positioning in the CISO and GRC segments. To be successful in this role you have: Former CISO, Chief Risk Officer (CRO), or equivalent senior cybersecurity/governance executive experience—C-level or VP-level preferred. 15+ years of experience in Senior leader roles leading large-scale cybersecurity, risk management, governance, or technology transformation initiatives, achieving breakthrough outcomes and organizational change. Deep expertise in enterprise cybersecurity frameworks, risk governance, compliance, and AI governance—including hands-on knowledge of regulatory environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, industry-specific frameworks). Demonstrated expertise in emerging cybersecurity and AI governance challenges, including identity governance, threat intelligence, AI risk controls, and zero-trust architecture. Extensive experience engaging external CROs, CISOs, Chief Compliance Officers, and Board-level risk committees as a trusted advisor and transformation partner. Experience with or deep knowledge of SaaS/PaaS platforms for risk, security, governance, or AI governance; familiarity with ServiceNow products (especially AI Control Tower, Veza, Armis, GRC, IAM capabilities) is ideal. Expert-level executive presentation skills, including large presentations to Board risk committees, executive briefings, and small-group roundtables with C-suite risk stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively across internal and external organizations, including Engineering, Sales, Chief Security Officers, Chief Risk Officers, government and regulatory bodies, and strategic partners. Adaptable and flexible, thriving in a highly dynamic, metric-based environment while maintaining credibility with risk-averse enterprise audiences. The ideal candidate has experience as an Industry Analyst, CISO advisor, or CRO consultant with deep expertise in governance, risk, and cybersecurity transformation. Executive-level consulting or advisory experience supporting C-suite and Board-level clients on cybersecurity strategy and risk transformation preferred. Strong local APAC executive network and credibility within regional CRO/CISO community; ability to leverage existing business connections to drive customer engagement. Experience or credibility in positioning AI governance and AI security as enterprise-critical transformation priorities.
