Technical Consultant-Automation Lead Location: IND - Bangalore 24/7 | Job-ID: 220787 | Contract type: Standard | Business Unit: IT Consulting Life on the team Computacenter GIS business unit is seeking a confident and experienced Test Analyst professional, a specialist resource skilled in testing concepts, process, develop test cases, execute and report in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will take responsibilities of executing assigned testing projects, gaining in depth understanding of the CC’s business process flows/application functionalities, ensuring high quality in accordance with CC standards and processes. Good communication skills and relationship building will enable the candidate to excel at the role and advance their career within Computacenter. Brief Overview of the Position We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with strong experience in test automation using Tricentis Tosca (preferred) or coded tools such as Selenium or UFT and deep functional testing knowledge in SAP and/or ServiceNow. The role involves designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated tests to ensure high-quality enterprise applications across complex landscapes. Key Responsibilities Overall 8-12 Years of Experience in Test Automation Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Tosca or Selenium/UFT Perform functional test automation for SAP (ECC/S4HANA) and/or ServiceNow modules Analyze business and functional requirements to identify automation candidates Create reusable test components, test cases and test data for automation frameworks Execute automated and manual test cycles and analyze defects Collaborate with business analysts, developers, SAP/ServiceNow functional consultants Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines where applicable Support regression testing, patch upgrades, enhancements, and production validations Ensure test coverage, traceability and reporting aligned with project governance Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to best practices and standards Should have led atleast team of 4-5 Member. Must have good understanding of SDLC and STLC knowledge Good to Build and Execute Test Scripts with minimal help Carries Strong knowledge in Test Techniques, Test Management tools and Testing Processes Must have good hands on experience in Defect Management process and able to drive/run Defect triage calls Ability to understand the big picture of the project scope or the application Able to Estimate test activities Analyse business, functional and technical requirements and translate them into test artefacts Define test data requirements to support test scripts preparation and execution Understand the changes/enhancements and incorporate into script via maintenance and able to manage impact based testing Identify improvement opportunities in the testing space and feed into Test Management process Adhere with CC standards and processes during project test execution. Good to Have Tosca Certified (AS1/AS2/TDS) Experience with API automation, integrations, or web services testing Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, etc.) Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments Knowledge of ServiceNow ATF or SAP Solution Manager / Focused Build Soft Skill Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to work independently and lead automation initiatives Mentoring and team collaboration mindset About us Computacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, with about 21,000 employees worldwide.
