Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Product Owner to lead the development and continuous improvement in our Global Manufacturing area. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery, coordinate releases, conduct market analysis, and ensure the product meets user needs and business goals. This role also includes maintaining the digital health product post-launch, addressing user issues, and ensuring continuous product improvement. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Product Owner to lead the development and continuous improvement of enterprise content creation capabilities within Takeda’s global Content Innovation ecosystem. The ideal candidate will own the day-to-day product lifecycle, translating business and platform priorities into clear requirements and driving them end-to-end across business stakeholders, vendors, engineering and dependent platform teams. This role also includes ensuring the platform continues to meet evolving business needs, driving adoption and operational improvements, and identifying opportunities to continuously improve the product and user experience. Key Responsibilities: Product Development Experience in Shaman strongly preferred. Experience in Anthill Activator, Arcane as Viseven eWizard good to have. Experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats and Aprimo preferred. Develop and articulate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Contribute to product strategy and roadmap development and translate agreed platform priorities into executable product requirements. Define product offerings in terms of benefits, features, and customer journeys. Identify and drive cross-platform dependencies and alignment across the broader content ecosystem, including authoring, DAM, MLR, taxonomy/metadata, integrations and downstream capabilities. Develop and execute a strategic customer engagement plan. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and platform users; proactively gather needs and feedback, facilitate decisions and manage expectations throughout the product lifecycle. Act as the day-to-day product contact for the platform and independently drive topics from initial business need through evaluation, requirements, delivery and adoption. Vendor Management Act as the primary day-to-day product interface with external technology vendors. Translate Takeda business needs into actionable vendor requirements and product enhancement requests. Drive vendor actions, functional issues and roadmap discussions through to resolution. Understand the vendor product roadmap and identify opportunities relevant to Takeda’s platform strategy and user needs. Ensure agreed vendor deliverables and outcomes meet business and product expectations. Release and Deployment Management: Develop detailed release plans. Contribute to release planning by defining business priorities, dependencies, functional readiness and acceptance criteria. Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Partner with engineering and platform teams to ensure functionality is ready for release and relevant business dependencies are addressed. Ensure successful product releases. Support successful releases through functional validation, stakeholder readiness and communication. Post-Launch Operations and Continuous Improvement: Implement structured processes for collecting and addressing user feedback. Conduct regular performance audits and stress tests to ensure product reliability. Partner with technical teams to identify and address platform performance, reliability and user-experience issues. Monitor product performance metrics and user satisfaction scores. Monitor platform usage, adoption, user feedback and relevant product performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities. Maintain comprehensive documentation for maintenance procedures, updates, and best practices. Actively contribute to and ensure appropriate product, process and user documentation is maintained. Proactively identify operational issues and improvement opportunities and drive them to resolution with the appropriate internal or external teams. Support rollout and adoption of new capabilities across markets and business units.
