This position reports to: Sales Leader – EPC & Named End User Accounts __ Your role and responsibilities: The Industrial Growth Leader is responsible for accelerating growth across an assigned territory and leading national business development efforts within the behind-the-meter power generation segment. The role will identify and develop high-value industrial opportunities, shape account and pursuit strategies, and mobilize local sales, engineering, product, service, and project teams to improve opportunity conversion. Success requires technical depth, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to build trusted relationships across complex customer organizations. Experience within the power-generation market is strongly preferred. While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be located near one of these major metro areas: Dallas, TX, Atlanta, GA, and Kansas City, MO. This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for: Develop and execute territory growth strategies focused on Industrial End Users, EPC firms, developers, and key market influencers, identifying emerging projects, investments, and market opportunities that drive ABB growth. Build and expand strategic customer relationships by delivering consultative, value-based solutions, creating account growth plans, and leading pursuits within high-potential Industrial End User and EPC accounts. Lead cross-functional pursuit teams and coordinate sales, engineering, service, project delivery, leadership, and channel partner resources to maximize customer value and improve win rates on strategic opportunities. Drive pipeline management, forecasting, business reviews, and executive engagement activities, providing clear visibility into account strategies, opportunity progression, and territory growth performance. Qualifications for the role: Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred. Candidates with no degree and commensurate industrial electrification experience will be considered. 10+ years of strategic account management or business development experience in industrial, EPC, energy, manufacturing, or related markets. Experience working with or selling to Independent Power Producers, Power generation developers, or power generation OEMs. Proven track record of driving profitable growth, developing executive relationships, and leading complex customer engagements Strong understanding of electrification, sustainability, digitalization, and industrial infrastructure trends. Familiarity with 3-phase AC Power Systems, including, but not limited to: modular substations, medium and low voltage switchgear, medium and low voltage motor control centers, switchboards, panelboards, and ancillary electrical distribution products. Strong understanding of enterprise selling methodologies and long-cycle capital project sales Ability to translate customer business objectives into actionable growth initiatives for both the customer and ABB Strong ability to influence, align, and motivate cross-functional teams toward common objectives. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and executive engagement skills Willingness to travel up to 50%.
