The PositionAs an R&D Associate, you will contribute to the development and lifecycle maintenance of diagnostic products across areas such as clinical chemistry, immunoassays, coagulation analytics, and mass spectrometry. You will plan and execute laboratory experiments, evaluate and document results, and collaborate with R&D colleagues to support product development, regulatory activities, and the resolution of product-related issues. Your key responsibilities Plan and perform laboratory experiments, including sample preparation, preparation of solutions and buffers, execution of analytical methods, and application testing. Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, identify trends or deviations, and contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving. Document experimental work and results accurately and in accordance with applicable quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Apply your knowledge of biochemical, immunodiagnostic, and analytical methods to support development activities and product maintenance. Support the operation, maintenance, calibration, and qualification of laboratory equipment and analytical systems. Present experimental results and findings in project and team meetings and contribute to technical discussions. Support the preparation and review of regulatory and quality-related documentation. Collaborate across the team, contributing to a safe, supportive, and high-quality laboratory environment and helping colleagues when needed. Who you are You have completed vocational training or an equivalent qualification in a relevant natural science discipline, such as chemistry, biology, biochemistry, laboratory technology, or a related field. You also bring: Relevant hands-on laboratory experience, particularly with analytical methods in biochemical, biological, medical, or diagnostic environments. Knowledge of chemistry, biochemistry, immunology, clinical chemistry and/or analytical methods. Experience working with analytical instruments and laboratory systems. Experience handling human/pathogenic biological material in a Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2/S2) environment. Good documentation skills and an understanding of working within a quality-controlled environment. Working knowledge of English. A collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Nice to have: Previous experience in diagnostics, IVD product development, product maintenance, or a regulated laboratory/R&D environment. Who we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
